Where Are You Going To?

Don't you think it would be strange, if not funny, if we get into a cab and didn't tell the cab driver where we are going to?

We couldn't ... because we didn't know where we want to go?

Just think about it for a moment.

Where do we get off?

When do we get off?

How do we know when we have arrived?

How does the cab driver even know where to drive to?

Imagine the same scenario when applied to our lives or to our marriage/relationship or organization.

People usually make extensive preparation for their wedding -- the date, the venue, the wedding dress, the wedding cake, people to invite, the honeymoon -- but fail to make extensive preparation for their marriage. I know all about this, because I was one of those people.

Having the same vision and mission to work towards in your relationship or organisation will help you to work things out in the many challenges that you will face together, working as a team, rather than each having their own agenda.

Knowing where you want to go and be in your life in the short term, medium term and long term will give you a clear vision of your future.

So, where are you going to?  Do you know?

PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE MOVED HERE.
